Hi all,

There are a lot of pictures in the database of planes on approach into St. Marten (St. Maarten) (SXM). I'm thinking of going there for vacation in January and was wondering what hotel(s) is/are closest to that infamous approach. Can someone tell me the name of the hotel(s)?

Having never been to SXM before can anyone tell me if the planes still fly in that low?

An example picture...

I am leaving town heading SXM tomorrow. We booked 1 night in Royal Palm Beach resort and 2 nights in Maho Beach Hotel and Casino I ask make sure they give me one of the airport view room (rate 249/night + tax!)

Will post a trip report to let you know what I think after I come back!

Yes 2 night but we have 3 person (family) they charge 624 include tax but guarantee best view Ocean/airport rooms. I will see if they are any good what I paid for.

Air Transat holiday has some of the best fare from Montreal. All included 7 night vacation at the Maho beach Resort around 1000 USD.
