According to the photographer its taken in Aug 2003 but I saw A4O-LD in its special colours just two weeks ago. Either the reg is wrong or the date  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

looks like something is wrong, because A40-LD appears in the special colors both before and after August 15.

Because the A340 in new colors is A4O-LG, not -D...look at the new colors, blow it up and look at the nosegear letter. Not a -D, could a -C though.
