Thanks Sam!
I am still puzzled: I tried to fly with a Cessna 172 from Phoenix to Victorville and possibly Mohave and thought this would be the only way to get close enough to these fields. In the end I only got to Las Vegas, Kingman, Tucson and Marana from air and ground.

Well, Sam is my idol, so I try to go on such trips too...
This has certainly been a great, fun and event-filled trip for me, meeting many fellow a.net photogs.
And enough pix to make it through the long dark winter here.
Happy Holidays,
Konstantin

Hey Mike, the dinner was great, but to be honest, Chris and I found an even better buffet at the Aladdin's the other night but it was also a bit more pricey...
I'll be back in LA one day!

Indeed the Aladdin is almost twice as much. When you look for value-for-money, the Palm's is of course excellent.
Maybe one day we can have a Sam vs Joe eating contest at either one

I try my best, Sam, but it probably won't help... 2004 will be the year when you take my place in the Top 5 (which I just "took" from Peter)

Keep wondering, V-man...
For all the others:
I uploaded the shots the days before xmas about 10-20 per day, and since I forgot to bribe the screeners, I was back to zero in the upload queue, so it took a while until they were screened. You know the game.
