Anyone planning on getting or asking for anything good for Christmas, for me I conned my family into getting me a Lowepro Mini trekker AW. Since my Wife let me buy a 100-400IS a month ago a shouldn't push it for anything more from her  Big grin. So anyone got any high hopes for Christmas morning?

On my List for Santa are;
*Nikon D100
*Nikon 70-200 2.8 VR

Hoping to get some cash too for that matter, could be useful if I decide to get myself a Sigma 170-500mm lens  Smile

I'm going from one extreme to the other - to complement my weighty DSLRs and L glass, Santy's bringing me a digital Ixus 400. Perhaps I'll have a 10D etc. to sell in the New Year  Smile

Cheers,

Colin

Hi all

Rez, if we meet up at LHR next year, I promise to loan you the Sigma for a shot or two. Copyright of the image will be part owned by the owner of the lens  Smile

Back to the original question.....Not sure if anything will be purchased this year. I am quite happy so far with my setup. Depends on what Canon may be offering in 2004.

One thing is for sure, my favourite Swedish singer is releasing her new CD in many, many a year next year and that is first on my purchase list before any camera stuff.

If you think I am kidding...........you don't know me.

I'll leave it to you lot to try and name her!

Cheers

I will get a Canon EOS 300D + 2 lenses for christmas.... or, for new year... because the body + the 18-55mm lens is ordered, but will not arrive until next week :-( and this SAT will be one of the busiest on our airport *Damn*

I still dunno which large lens to buy.

All the guys in the shops here told me there's nothing with more than 200mm zoom for a Canon 300D  Insane I want to have something 300mm + ... anything out there????  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Please help!

regards. Flo

Finally getting a real tripod... the Gitzo 1128 with a 1177 Magnesium ball head... I'm now a real man... you know what they say "Buy a Gitzo, and never buy again"... that's because you won't be able to afford anything else after that.
