I think I remeber reading somethin like "No Modified oictures will be allowed"
No offence to the photographer its a Brilliant pic  Big thumbs up. But shouldn't this be on a modified airliner website like modified airliner pictures?

Thanks

Don't mean to spoil the party, but that NW DC-10 was painted in those colours for real:

That was one cool aircraft.

Much better than the previous split liveries like the Alitalia/Continental (DC-10 was it?) and Viasa/KLM DC-8... where the livery was split exclusively to each side of the aircraft.

Peter sure got the better half here too !!

I quite like the KLM side of the livery pictured in the first post  Wink/being sarcastic

Does anyone know the story behind why KLM and NW were sharing colours? Did they become 'KLM/Northwest Alliance'? And how come they aren't still an Alliance?  Laugh out loud

I think he took the Remark in the pic a little bit too literal Big grin

When you put the 2 aircraft in the background together this is what you get

I wish I was a wizard with PS like Mike and I could fake stuff like this Big grin

This was indeed one of the better combos around, and I remember it was hard to shoot at AMS.
Maybe a KL/AF 777 combo in the future?

Cheers
Tim

Tim, don't lie. We all know that's a fake photo....you should be ashamed of yourself for ruining your fathers name like that uploading a fake shot  Smile

How are they going to do split color schemes in the future when both sides of the fuselage are white anyway?
