Im considering to buy 2 new lenses one long range zoom looking at the 100-400L IS and a wide angle lens not sure which, im using a Canon 10D. Anyone that have any suggestions and comments on what they use?
I have read lots of reviews mostly about the 100-400 lens but they have mostly been written by nature photographers and not aviation photographers which I guess is quite different. Im hopefully going to be able to spend up to 2500 USD on the 2 lenses.

I use the 100-400L, along with a Tamron 24-135SP and an EF 17-40L. I find these 3 lenses cover everything I would shoot aviation wise. From cabin interiors to that touchdown shot taken from a perimeter fence. You can't go wrong with any of the L lenses.
You can check out some of my pics, lens information is provided. Link is under my profile.
