A window pops up and it has some values for me to implement. It says:
"RAW Options"
Describe CRW_003.RAW
"Dimensions"
Width_______ Pixels
Height______ Pixels
"Channels"
Count _________
Depth 8 Bits 16 Bits
"Header"
Size: _______ Bytes
What do I put in there? I figure the Width/Height is pretty self explanatory, but I have questions about the rest. Thanks.

I guess it isnt self explanatory. No matter what number values I put in there, it says "SPECIFIC IMAGE IS LARGER THAN FILE" or "SPECIFIC IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN FILE, OPEN ANYWAY"?

I had that same problem. Solution for me is to open my RAW files via the File Browser. That way you get thumbnails and just doubleclick to convert them.

Colin,
When using the File => Open command and I pick one of my RAW files, CS asks for dimensions and all kind of weird stuff... When picking them from the file viewer there is not a problem.

I have a legit copy of PS 7.0.
I think I see where my mistake was... I changed the photo file extension from .CRW to .RAW. Im going shooting tomorrow, Ill try it again. In the CANON PHOTO VIEWER can I change the image to TIFF or do I have to change it to TIFF thru Photoshop? Thanks guys.

Yup, there's your problem. PS 7 does not support RAW without the optional plugin program which I believe is now withdrawn with the advent of the Photoshop CS.
Wietse - that's odd. Whichever way I open a RAW file I go straight into the RAW conversion window - no questions or prompts. I can't remember now if I configured anything to make it work like this.
