My dad and I just got S7000s for ourselves around Christmas. Unfortunately we haven't been able to use them in aircraft photography yet. However, back in December I gave my parents a ride over Philadelphia in A Grumman Tiger AA-5 with my instructor. My dad shot 50 or so pictures with his S7000 (brand new at the time). The results were pretty damn good, compared to our previous results with the predecessor Fuji S602.

Too bad none of the pictures were accepted by A.net though. Maybe I can get some of them and post them on my non-aviation related website and post a link in here later.

Overall, its an excellent camera. Fast zoom times and reasonably quick focus delay. Picture quality is a step above the S602 when on the 12 Megapixel emulation mode. I just want to test the thing on actual moving aircraft, that will be the true test.

I think Big Foot is blurry, Its not the photographers fault. Theres a large out of focus monster roaming the countryside
