Hello guys,
I'm so proud that I got my 2000th picture accepted on airliners.net. Reaching that new milestones makes me really happy...
I just want to thank all people who supported me over the past two years and helped me improving my photos. And most importantly: Thanks to all the lovely people I met from Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland and the US (hope you guys will know who I mean). Hope to see you all again this year.
And finally what would this topic without a shameless plug
Here it is my 2000th addition to the airliners.net database:

Congratulations on that 2,000th. I know the feeling and it's a good one. That shot does look strangely familiar (you know what I mean ) We had a great time that New Year's weekend. To bad the weather wasn't a bit better.
Now, like you, I just took what will become my 3,000th in the database (if I can manage to hold back on it for a few hundred acceptances). Remember me telling you I wanted the KL MD-11 Audrey Hepburn? Well, I got her in MIA and it's an absolute beauty (at least I think so). You'll just have to wait to see it. I know you'll like it because it's a three-holer ... lots of them in MIA
Congratulations again on # 2000. We look forward to many more wonderful photos from you in the future.

Count me in, Tobi. I want to congratulate you on your 2000th shot, and man, you definitely did it in style... It was a pleasure and an honor meeting you at Art Brett's house of all places , and I couldn't have ever wished for a better New Year. Take care, and I hope our paths cross at some point again, whether it'll be me non-revving my a$$ off to Europe/somewhere else, or you coming to DEN to shoot our Frontier tails!
Again, good luck
Alex.
