I crashed my computer recently and lost the Action that Colin has for cleaning up images. I have already e-mailed him asking him to send it to me again.
Does anyone know of any other Photoshop Actions that are out there on the 'Net that could be useful for our hobby?

Jay - got your email, but I'll post the link here since your query may attract others. I should stress I developed this action in PS 6 for the specific purpose of sharpening slide scans at A.net resolutions while minimising grain - its not particularly original, but does combine what I think are the best aspects of a number of grain reducing/sharpening techniques - I should stress this is NOT for digital images - it won't ruin them, but nor will it get the best out of them.
As to other actions - there must be thousands on the net in various places, but most of them tend to be "effects" (which I personally don't like) or not very well done. A good source for genuinely useful actions is http://www.fredmiranda.com. His actions are all pretty subtle, do what they say they'll do, and produce something which still looks like a photograph at the end. A particular favorite of mine is his Digital Velvia which can save many a lifeless image. He does make a small charge for the actions, but they are well worth it.
