Hello all,

This is a question for the most senior a.net visitors/contributors/crew around here. I was wondering about this for quite some time: What is the 1st digital photo in the database? (Taken with a digital camera, that is.) And: Did anyone notice at the time that it was digital?

Thomas

Hi all,

First digital shot I would think Colin Abbot would come close if not win that one, he has had little Sony digitals for years and years.

As for Paul's photo. Personally I think that MK image is a refreshing change from the countless jaggie oversharpened images I see now-a-days from various people  Smile

Well, this was the very first photo added to the db which contained the word "digital" (relating to the camera!) in the remark field...

It's not a definitive answer, but it is an answer!

Digital cameras have certainly come on since then!

This was actually my first ever digital shot, taken with a borrowed Kodak [model unknown] dig cam in MAR98. Too bad the original pics have long since vaporized.

The #1 picture (and even more so, #2), clearly show how A.net has gotten WAY stricter since the beginning. Most my pics are better than those, yet get rejected.
