Hi all
I've just got back from a trip to Paris, and borrowed my work's Fuji Finepix S5000. I was quite impressed with the results, and have decided to sell my Canon Rebel EOS 2000 and get a digital camera of the same type as the Finepix - i.e. with a decent zoom and high quality shots.
The problem, as always, is cost! I'm looking at something like a Canon Coolpix or Fuji Finepix - but what would you say is the lowest spec camera I need to be looking at for decent, sharp, airliner pics with a relatively good zoom? I'd be looking to spend up to about £150 ($275). I wouldn't mind picking up a used one if it's in good working order!

Heum.
A Coolpix is a Nikon, Canon are PowerShots
Otherwise, £150 is too low to get anything decent that would produce a.net quality material, except if you like to shoot singles and ventilators.
The antry-levl digicams at Canon and Nikon with optical zoom are the Canon PowerShot A60 and Nikon CoolPix 2100/2200, but at that price -> 2MP only
