I know this camera is simply the sensation right know and me as one more will be buying mine shortly, perhaps this weekend.
As you might know, buying this things at Mexico can be as twice as expensive as buying it on the US. So I'll be ordering thru Ritz camera and have it delivered to a friends house in Dallas. (here is the link)

Make sure you call RitzCamera first and ask if they have it in stock. I remember when I ordered mine - www said they are in stock but n the phone they said that I'd have to wait at least two weeks. So I ended ordering from PC Connection - the same price and free 2nd day delivery.

I recommend you, buying the 512mb. Because you have too much traffic in Mexico. I can get the 256mb full in a evenning here in Panama. Thats why I brought another 256mb when I was in Miami.
Also I brought a Sigma 70-300 APO a very nice lens. I saw the two Sigma lens offer. I don't know but I think you should better get the camera with the EF-S 18-55 lens. And use your Canon lens for a while, then buy a new one when you are able.

Thanks as always for your great tips and opinions.
So I think I'll be going for the 512Mb or the chip as Gary and Florian said.
About the lens, yes I think I'll get the EF-S 18-55 and then buy another one maybe in 2005.
Danny: I'm not on a hurry of getting it and since I'm in MEX then I should have it delivered to my friends house, the reason I picked them is that they don't charge sales tax which gives some money to buy the card!!
So gentleman add one more to the 300D Rebel user list... Juan Carlos Guerra!!!
