Hi there folks,

Now I have two BP-511's to my disposal I figured that I should get myself a BG-ED3 camera grip for the beloved D30  Smile

Hi there Dalpreet mate  Big thumbs up

How long did they take on the delivery side of things?

I have looked on eBay but they seem to go for the same kind of money on there etc!

Justin,

I ordered online, and it arrived within a day or 2.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

They use citylink as their couriers, so if your not about to sign for it when they come, u might find yourself having to go down to the nearest depot to pick it up.

Justin,
Print out the following page http://www.cameraworld.co.uk/AccessorieShopping.asp?ProductId=1010 then take it into your local Jessops store and get them to price match it. I did this at my local store, they had to order the grip in but it arrived within a couple of days.

I use it on my 10D with two batteries all the time, in fact I purchased it a week after I got the camera and it hasn't been parted in over a year!

It really makes the camera comfortable to hold as well as longer shooting times.

Ian.

Hi all

I agree, I cannot use the camera without it either now.

Cheers

Woody001,

What is the Jessops price match? Will they do this in any store against any advertised price?

I called them yesterday as I am looking to purchase a 10D, they told me that they currently have 500 on customer back order!! They are currently looking into this for me as I would like one this year!

Your advices would be appreciated as I have found a 10D in stock in this country £40 cheaper than Jessops.

Regards Simon.

I only live a ten minute walk from a Jessops store so I always try and get them to price match. I got them to match 7dayshop prices on Kodachrome64 slide film recently, over £5 cheaper..!!

They may not offer it on a 10D if they have that many on backorder, wow.

They also matched a price for a Canon lens hood and they had to order that in for me.

It's meant to be against a 'local' shop but most don't seem bothered with customers taking in a website print out. Try it and see how you get on.

Good luck.

Ian.
