That's good for the evening, but that means less light early in the morning.

The time has come to start sticking the camera in the boot.......sorry.....trunk of the car so I can pop in past my local if the light is good.

Cheers

More time in the summer ... not necessarily. The sun is getting awfully high around noon & heat haze already starts at 0900.  Crying

As previously mentioned, having more daylight to work with isn't necessarily a good thing. I actually shoot less in the summer because of the terrible sun angle (too high). Starting about this time of year, I only shoot at sunrise or sunset.

But, yeah, it is nice to have sunset at a later hour so I can head out to the airport after work now!

The nice thing about the summer is the nice sunset shots you can take without freezing, or having to go in and out of a car for every plane.

Erik

I like this feature much better (along with many other features) in the east part of the USA. In the summer in Michigan you can still see light on the horizon at 1100pm at the peak of the summer solstice.
