Hello guys,

I just want to know what is the sharpness setting in your camera? I am currently using +1 for the photos. However, when I come back home and look at the photos, it's not very sharp. Do I need +2 then??

How do they look when you sharpen them? Most people go the other way...eliminating all in camera sharpening. Then, do it afterward to what ever level you like.

I'm not in the DSLR business, but I have my sony 707 set at -1 sharpness, then I can adjust as I like without having jaggies up the a$$.

I see...Maybe I should leave the sharpness setting to 0 and then use the photoshop to sharpen the photos.

I leave it on 0. Works fine for me that way!

Ricardo, thanks for your suggestion. I will leave it to 0 next time. And then sharpen the photos in Photoshop.

I have tried +1 0 and -1 and the best comes with -1. It leaves less noise when doing post processing sharpening (well, for me anyway). I had some great shots today (hoping they get accepted) due to this "new" find for me (Thanks to AN-225).

Okay, that's fine. I will try 0 and -1 next time.
Too bad that BKT can not include sharpness setting.

BKT is for exposure only... That's what it's meant for, and that's what it does.

Just get a good lens and learn to use it...
