Getting ready to shop for a teleconverter for my outfit. Would you recommend the 1.4 or 2x for general AV shots? Have a 200mm VR and 70-300 ED

I would go for the 1.4.
The 70-300 5.6 would be a F8, and with a 2.0 converter F11 and then I'm afraid you will lose the AF.
