Just to let you know, I got offered a new position at my company and will move to Dubai in June. It's a great opportunity career-wise and I'm also excited of living in a new environment!
Regarding aviation photography, I guess I'll have to explore what's possible in and around DXB, but it probably won't be the same like in FRA anymore. Since I will be travelling a lot, I hope I can remain a regular contributor to this site and continue to meet spotters like I did at FRA and other airports.

all the best for your new Job in DXB! We didn't manage to meet in FRA, HHN or LUX during the past 4 years, but maybe there will be an opportunity in the future in DXB...

V, are you coming in the hottest month to DXB, to check which camera is melting faster...?
You can gladly take over AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA from me, but that means not just shooting the occasional head-turning shot, but document each and every movement It's hard work, actually.

Yes, I know.....
I like it hot and wet
I am still talking about the climate. New England climate is similar in the summer, temps around 100F plus lot's of humidity, but since I won't be working I will be sitting under a palm tree with a cold drink in my hand.......
Taking over AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA???? No way my friend.....occasional photo shoots are ok, but that is about it. Still I have 2 spots I have never been to and will try them out this year!

I think N.E. is like the North Pole compared to DXB in summer.
New spots? Maybe when the new runway finally becomes operational around the time we retire.
BTW, don't I see you on June 12?
