Just curious, I have received lots of e-mails with the following text:
> Dear George
> Do You Sell A Slide Of Your Photo
> Emirates Airliners 747-47U ID 148706? If So
> Quote Price. please Right Back. My
> E Mail Address Doesn't Work.
> You Can Reach Me By Mail
> My Address Is.................
and of course his address. Are there other people with the same? have you ever sell a photo or slide to this person? I wrote him my prices a few months ago and I didn't hear anything from him. On this moment he starts sending these mails again.

Yesterday I received that exact message from the same person. As I don't shot slides I already have the letter ready to send him explaining but now that you're telling this guy doesn't reply, I'm going to think twice before going to the Mail Office.
This was the photo he asked

I got the same e-mail a few months ago, and then just received the exact same e-mail today from the same guy too. I just thought it is a little "strange" for someone to write the same e-mail about his e-mail address being down, since I would think that he would be able to get another e-mail address if one address isn't working, since there are so many free e-mail services available. Also, I didn't write to him with my prices since he was asking for slides, and I only shoot prints. The shot that he was interested in is this one:

While we are on the subject I'm curious what you might typically charge when selling an average slide to an individual? I'm talking about those depicting ordinary planes in relatively standard type approach or departure shots. An example would be something like:
The film used would be Sensia II ISO100 and Provia 100F. I've had some requests from somebody else and I'm not really sure what would be the going rate? I don't want to give them away but I also don't want to charge too much. Any comments for prices in Canadian or US dollars?
