Does anyone have any information on where exactly G-BOAE is parked at the airport in Barbados? Also, does anyone know how far it is from the cruise ship dock to the airport in Barbados? Will I need a car, or will a taxi be fine?
I'll be visiting Barbados as part of my cruise next week and would like to visit the airport to snap a few pics of Concorde, but I'm concerned about how much time it would take. Any information would be most appreciated...
BTW, I am leaving on SATURDAY, so please respond ASAP if you can.

Josh
I visited G-BOAE and Barbados airport in Dec 03.
I believe the Concorde had been moved to a hanger specially built for it.
I tried to ask permission to go to take photo and I gave them 2 media credentials but was refused saying too many people want to see it, we can't accomadate everyone....the pace of dealing is slow and be very patient there. I am not sure whether now it is opened to the public, I hope you have better luck then I do there. From port to airport, I have a rental car, took about 15-20 minutes, roads are good to the airport. On the fence line toward Rwy11 you can find many holes in the fence, good enough for your Big D100 to take any final or holding shots.
