I don't understand the "bad centered" as one reason for rejection of this photo

The motive ( the aircraft ) is not really badcenter in my opinion, but either you used a way too high ISO setting or the image is way too oversharpend. Badscan would have been the appropriate one.

Sorry, forget about it  Insane

It's a nice picture Mr. Kelly. I would disagree with Florian on "forgetting about it."

It could be cropped a little differently to better highlight the aircraft. Despite what the above poster mentioned about it, I think you can fix it and resubmit it.

while we're on the badcentered subject....here's one i recently had rejected...

i'm wondering how to fix it, whether i should make the amount of space on the outside of the #1 & 3 engines the same or was this badcenter because of the tail?

John

Could possibly be an error checking the wrong rejection box.

Badquality is my opinion.

Well, the picture was taken from a distance of about 3/4 of a mile, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised by that. Maybe "Bad Distance" should have been a reason for rejection - even though another photo taken the same day at the same distance was accepted.

Zander-

Nice shot of the A340, but it's too high in the frame. There is a lot of sky below the aircraft, and not much above it. Re-crop and it may be OK.
