Hi all;

recently submitted this shot:

currently, it´s 1600 px wide, but i can resize...

and it was rejected for "badscan"... I personally like the image, together with the background, it´s one of my favourites and I did a HQ print on photo-paper Big grin

The shot was taken with the sun in my back and the a/c was in bright sun.

any ideas on how to improve this one to make it suitable for the DB?

Try it again at 1024. The quality is fine, but a 1600 pixels wide picture viewed at less than 100dpi (screen resolution dpi) often has a tendency to look a bit soft.

Yep, my guess is that resizing will do the job.
It is also a bit contrasty, although I like that being a slide shooter.
Most digital shots in the DB have far less contrast, so not everyone is used to it

Look very closely between the lines of this message, and you will see the captain beating up the jumpseater

I agree with the others... resize and upload at 1024pixels width again, it will make it!
