Hi guys,

Planning a day trip up to Mancheser MAN/EGCC this summer, going to fly with bmi from LHR up to MAN. What day of the week would you suggest is the best day for spotting and photography, or are all days relativly equal. Would prefer a weekday rather than a weekend  Smile

Cheers in advance,
Mike.

I've done day trips to MAN twice. One the weather was ok, the second time it was crap. I think the problem with photography in the UK is the difficulty in predicting the weather. Both times I went on a weekday and there was lots of interesting traffic  Smile

Weekdays are simply RJ fests! Weekend days seem best, with more charter activity, though there are fewer RJs so you get more quiet spots!

I have only been on weekends myself. There was plenty to keep my occupied during my time here! I would go for it  Smile

It's a good day trip, especially mixing in the flying.

I would suggest Sat 10th and Sun 11th of July! Will be a good few days at MAN and you never know, you may bump into the odd photograher there!!!
