Liam, 2 other things you need is good film and a good scanner.
What do you use?

At the moment I use agfa film and am looking to spent some money on a film scanner....
My grandad gave me the camera and have had some really nice shots with it but I'm just worried that I'm going to waste my time paying out all this money and not being able to get a pic on a.net

Not so sure about the agfa film (though I never used it), you might be better of using kodak or fuji slidefilm.

You have a topnotch camera, which combined with the right equipment can produce excellent results. Just look at Johan's slidescans.

Cheers

Thanks,
I have just discovered Kodak high definition that gives a better clarity of photo, if some one can recommend a Negative scanner I'd appreciate it....

Digital or not, reflex or not...These are matters to think about but most important thing is, in my opinion, to invest in good lenses. Anyhow one can make beautiful pictures with an standard camera...

Good luck

NB: Jamo (I know this is nothing about the topic but how can you write 72 posts in 4 days?? Is that a race to win something?)
