Hi all. Pretty happy today as almost 20 of my pictures just got added to the site. IM a bit confused though as I have had 5 rejected , but IM note sure for what reason. IM sure the answer is simple but for the life of me after looking at the rejection notice I cannot see whats wrong.

The main problem (4 pictures) is size. I have received a "too small rejection". This states the minimum required size is 1024x768. Now I have had 4 photos at the following size rejected for this reason..

1024 x 810
http://airliners.net/procphotos/rejphoto.main?filename=BA-319-GEUPX-22042004-LHR-SJC.jpg

1024 x 816
http://airliners.net/procphotos/rejphoto.main?filename=BD-A321-GMIDK-22042004-LHR-SJC.jpg

1024 x 810
http://airliners.net/procphotos/rejphoto.main?filename=HY-767-VPBUA-17042004-LHR-SJC.jpg

1024 x 939
http://airliners.net/procphotos/rejphoto.main?filename=JL-747-JA8922-17042004-LHR-SJC.jpg

So im very puzzled so can anyone can tell me what size I need to change them to . I will then re load them as that's the only rejection notice.

Query No # 2

I have a photo that's been rejected twice due to "bad info". Now I have rechecked twice and I cannot see anything wrong. Please help as I fear IM missing the obvious.

Thanks all

AIRLINERS.NET CREW
PHOTO SCREENER

was there a note from the screener? They seem to have a lot of dead space around them, esp the Jap 747.

You have the Gulf Air reg as A4zero-KD

The correct reg is A4oh-KD

I just had a photo rejected at 1024 x 628 for size. All other photos uploaded at 1024 x 600 or above have been accepted in the past, so what's the new standard now?

Brilliant !!!!!!!! Thats the Gulf air problem sorted !!! I knew it was something stupid. Thanks Clickhappy

Regarding the other photos. Nope , that was the only rejection notice. The reason i left the space at the top was due to the fact i was trying to get a more "square" type picture. I could crop a bit more though if thats what their after. But i gather if that was the case they would have added another rejection notice.

Thanks for the help

I've had problems with the size rejection too, even though they were all bigger then the minimums. Try using a aspect ratio of 2.5 x 2 (will give you the "square" size), or 3 x 2 (widescreen type size).

They, to me atleast, look soft, they also have a little bit of motion blur, at least to me. But they also seem a little underexposed. That's just my un-professional opinion, there are people here who defenately would be able to help more than I can. Good luck!  Big thumbs up

3x2 is not widescreen. 2:3 aspect in 35 mm pictures produce photographs most commonly measuring 3.5 x 5 inches or 4 x 6 inches.

Just set your crop tool to 6"wide by 4" high and the aspect will work out to 1024x683 pixels.
