Just checking up on the prices of the items in my B&H Wishlist, and it appears as if Canon's BP-511 Lithium-Ion Battery (7.4v, 1100mAh) has been discontinued. It's the battery used to power the 10D and other cameras.

It's been replaced with a higher capacity Canon BP-511A Lithium-Ion Battery (7.4v, 1390mAh). Still retails for US$54.95 at B&H.

Brian,
You can get a replacement for the 10d at Wal-Mart for $20 bucks (1200mAh) when they go on sale (often). That battery is used in a bunch of different cameras including an entire line of digital video cameras. Just FYI.
