I see one 100-400mm there. Makes me feel like my lens is small.  Insane

I was in Central Park the other day and was taking pics of a girl and walked past a much more professional shoot. the guy had a better Canon body than me, a bigger lens and better lighting equipment. I felt stupid. lol

I watched the game on TV, was a good one.

It's a lens, Phil...not a competition for the shiniest famiy jewels. :p

I just noticed something--in the second shot, there's a (niiice) woman with a 1-4. There's also a cop right next to her. Of course he's just making sure she's not taking shots of the LGA traffic...

It's about now that the 'lens size' may come into play.  Big grin haha

I've always loved this ad:

Sorry I didn't get a chance to hook up with you in NYC, Futt (and the rest). I got swamped during that week. The only day I had to myself was a Saturday so I decided to go to the altar of B & H Photo... only to find out they're CLOSED on Saturdays!!  Pissed What the Futt? Who's closed on SATURDAYS?!?!

The day wasn't a total loss though, I did get to see the biggest rat of my life in the subway. The damn thing was as big as a cat.

Coincidence? I think not. Where's Robert Stack when you need him? Is he Jewish? lol

weird isn't it, that Canon users are constantly trying to reassert to themselves and the world at large that they made the right choice.
Of course all they do in that is showing the world their inferiority complex  Big thumbs up

Ahh ha! Great shots, AMAZING game. Sorry for the lack of cell phone-ing. I got only one as I was more focused on the 13 takeoffs than the game.  Laugh out loud
Note the bald guy for comparison...

There is a fine line between a picture and a photo. The latter seems to be disappearing.

Ah yes... the Sabbath. My mistake. Forgive me, I grew up around Catholics where Sunday is the "do nothing day." And appropriately, now, I feel guilty...  Smile

I know for a fact I will be back in NYC soon. The very latest this fall. I'll head to B&H on a weekday!

And Jwenting... don't be a hater. Like a good Catholic, I forgive you and your superiority complex.  Big grin

Well said Royal, when I saw his age I decided to tone down my response. He definetely lost the respect of a number of us here no question about it, and so did his "uncle" -we're all on the same boat here loving the same hobby- no one is "them" this or "them" that thats for sure..

Umm..... not that I can think of  Big grin. Getting serious, WTF do you have against me saying Jews don't like to work on Saturdays, either religeous or personal, they just don't work on Saturdays!!!! And lay off my uncle, I'll bet he can take a photo 1000x better than you can... He has a great amount of experience and will bomb your photos.  Big thumbs up

You too?? Why do all Jews take my comment so badly?? I just said.... oh just read above.....And about the slap, how exactly are you going to lift up the lens with your skin and bones arms?  Big grin Cheers

The Torah (Jewish Bible, Martin ) tells of Abraham and how he settled in the land of 'Canaan.'

Dude, the more you talk the dumber you sound. When you get a little older you'll look at what you're writing and understand. Show your mom and dad what you're writing and they'll explain what I mean.

Martin,
You and your uncle are looking more and more like jackasses. I agree with Joe, I'll bet mom and dad have no idea. Saying stuff like that shows no class at all, and then to follow it up with your next post really ... well...I think you get the picture.
