On one of my shots i have a awful blue line across the image

Any idea what could have caused this?

Peter,

It's interesting to note that as I move my head around and look at the line it too has some movement, almost like it jumps a bit. Strange. I would think it would have to be some kind of reflection, but it's not usual that's for sure.

Never seen that before, but the line comes straight out of the sun, so my guess is its a freak flare.
