This was rejected for badcameraangle............

http://airliners.net/procphotos/rejphoto.main?filename=300604_usa752_n602au_sxm2.jpg

When I use the grid in PS it seems level to me, and hints on which direction to rotate this or by how much?

Would appreciate some screener feedback as to exactly what reference was used to determine badangle.

This was also turned away for badmotiv

Is it because of the entrance to the flightdeck on the right side?

First one: Definitely level. No doubt.
Second one: Indeed, all the stuff around the edges like the doorframe is probably the cause for the badmotive. Does the original picture's quality allow you to crop it a bit tighter? Take a bit from the bottom and the right side?

Nice shots Garry!  Smile

cheers,
Eduard

Garry,

I agree with badmotiv on that shot and the US 752 I would say rotate about 0.5 CCW, but thats my personal opinion.

Cheers

Garry,
the USairways needs about 0.5ccw as mentioned above, i just saved the pic and did it, looks sensational!

Garry,

I love the first shot with the hills and the jet wash. I'm not sure where they got bad camera angle.

The second one leaves a lot to be desired IMHO. Kind of washed out outside and the arm across the pic doesn't help. If you could zoom around the door and the co-pilot I think it might work. It just looks to cluttered for a.net.

Again though. The first one is outstanding.

Bill

Thanks all,

I've resubmitted the US 757 with a slight CCW rotation and I've also resubmitted the twotter shot with a different crop.
Unfortunately the arm is ever present in twotter cockpit shots because the throttles are located up there, I hope that does not constitute badmotive because that would effectively ban cockpit action shots from these aircraft, which would be a shame.

The new crop is this:

Hopefully this will be OK !

The Twotter shot is nicer now. The arm is not disturbing (to me at least) and you got rid of the doorpost.  Smile You really get the feeling you're looking over the pilots shoulder. Very nice!
