What was the rejection reason(s)? It's not level to start with - have a look at the vertical references behind the aircraft. It needs some clockwise rotation and recropping.

However I don't know whether it could have been to do with the fact that the aircraft is covered up! I'm not sure where photos like that stand in the database - if your rejection reason was badmotiv (rejection text in the email will start "The photos were of low esthetic qualities") then that will be the reason. Is it the same aircraft as the one you had accepted? I guess you need to consider what value a photo of a covered aircraft will bring to the a.net database if there is already one of it uncovered.

Hope this helps and congratulations on the accepted photos!

Just fyi, that USAir is a CRJ-200 and should become N253PS.

Mikec
the rejected reason was exactly what you said...
if your rejection reason was badmotiv (rejection text in the email will start "The photos were of low esthetic qualities" and finally i totally approve your opinion.

I actually like the shot that was rejected. It's something you don't see every day. I would definitely appeal it and make your case.

Keep shooting.

Alex.

Regarding the covered USAir CRJ, do you have any others in the sequence where it is not in front of buildings/fence of nearly the same color? It might stand out further.

As others have stated, it is definately somethings you don't see everyday.

Do they also offer to bag their CRJ's in paper?  Smile

Definitely have them take the condom off. It may not be something you see ever day, but I don't think it's real photogenic. Maybe Trojan could use it as an advertisement. I won't get into the text of the ad.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy Nice first 2. Congratulations.
