Dear friends,
Our good buddy Mario Aurich will be in town on Friday August 20th. We're planning to get together at my home in South Charlotte for dinner (order in pizza or whatever) beer (or hard liquor- up to you) and a slide show in the backyard (if rains, bring it inside). If any of you are in town that day or live in the area, email me if you are interested in joining us. No worries about running out of slides to show, my collection currently tops 125,000 slides  Nuts

why shoot US 762s when you have a fine collection of Dash 8s to choose from?  Wink/being sarcastic i want to get some of those PSA CRJ-700s though.....and the LH A340 came in on the wrong side too....

Joe, i'm game.....i was just there for the dave matthews concert this past saturday (awesome show, by the way) but i'd make the trip down there for the day or spend one night or something...

I have a woodrow for US Air 757's and 767's. Don't know why, maybe they remind me of the man in black.

Seriously, US 757s are big favs of mine. I saw them twice at LGA from 2 miles away partially blocked byt he termianl, and one in Mojave all wrapped up like a baked potato.

I get enough Dash-8s at LGA.

Sorry for the hijacking. Just trying to hype up CLT  Big grin

Any of you boys who wants to come can stay over- we have one guestroom with a futon. In the family room the couch opens up in to a full sized bed- then there's the floor but I can get an air mattress temporarily. The people that come from the furthest away will have 1st pick on the best sleeping facilities. I'll even pick your ass up at the airport (i'm 20 min away) if you arrive in the evening on friday (that's when i'm picking up Mario). Shooting CLT on Saturday is fine with me.

JP,

would love to come over, but on Aug 20th I will be hanging out at the pool in DXB and probably meet up with K-man.
I will do that CLT thing next year.
Funny enough I will also meet Mario, a couple of days later.....small world, isn't it.

Maybe we can meet up in LAX in Dec.

I'd love to come down, but unfortunately, I will be moving into my new digs up I-85, settling into the Greensboro area. If it was a month later, I'd be there, but I'm sure I'll have plenty of unpacking (and spotting at GSO) to do.
