Which Lens For Canon EOS300D Please

Hi All,

Recently got the above camera with its standard lens. Bit of a newbie photographer and have found the zoom not strong enough. Can anyone please recommend which lens to buy to take close-ups of A/C from a distance? For example a cockpit shot from the side of a runway.

I just bought the 300D with the Canon 75-300IS zoom. Only taken a few shots with it, due to rainy days here, but so far I'm very happy with it!

Thanks for the information. Fortunately, budget isn't too much of a problem so will look at anything. I was told by a local photography shop that the Canon 75-300IS was good for the digital. It's about £150 here (c $300US) is it around the same price stateside as I go a lot.

Well if budget isnt too much of a problem, why not get the 100-400 L IS or a 70-200 L IS. Both are very good, but the cost is high.
