NOTAMs show until Wed morning at 0600, 17L/35R will be closed. Reason unknown, but once again, just about everything will be using 17R/35L for some great photo ops from the SW corner of the property. Go get 'em!

I think it's been closed for a little while already. I heard that there was some Taxiway repairs or something of the sort.

We missed you at the jet preview last weekend, where were you?

I was at the Preview, but only for about 30 mins or so. I was in a hurry because I was going out of town for a few days and needed to get going pretty quick after work. I did get some pretty nice cockpit shots.

As for the runway closure, I just noticed it on the NOTAMs this morning and it was a 24 hr effective period from 0600 on the 10th until 0600 on the 11th. I may be able to get over to the Inverness location after work for a bit, around 1430 or so. Hopefully they'll land north with a rush of corporate jets right about then! We'll see.

Did you end up getting any shots of them landing from Inverness?

Yep, realised that after I posted it and was too lazy to edit it  Smile

I got some decent shots. We'll see if any of them make it past screening. I didn't really get into editing them yesterday, so it was kind of half-a$$ed. I was only there for 30 mins or so, however. Saw an FAA KingAir and a G-IV land among others.
