As of yesterday, I joined the club! I'm now listed under the photographers list on the 'About Airliners.net' page. I had all this talk that when I reach 100 that I'm upgrading my camera immediately. Well, not for now. I will continue to shoot with my 2mp  Wow! camera until I feel it's right to upgrade. It's definitely made me a better photographer, that's for sure! Thanks to all that helped me over the past few years with aviation photography!!

Here's 100:

Congrats on the 100 shots!

You have done well with a 2MP camera! What one are you using out of curiosity??

Cheers,

Congrats! Glad to meet you at our gathering a couple of Sundays ago on the parking garage roof. Hope we can all do it again soon. I started with a C700 then moved up to the C750. Love the 10x optical zoom.

Congrats at your achievement. And over 600 average is pretty good as well !!

Plus, you use a Olympus C700, which is one of the best compact digicam around here (I got my 500 first pics on A.net with the C700 I am still using even now I have a DSLR)

However, as a (retrired) serial plugger I have to protest :

NOTICE: To avoid accusations of just plugging my shot, CLICK THE MEDIUM SIZE SO IT WILL GET NO HITS!

come on.... medium version does give hits. I have checked that a long time ago !!!!

cheers,

707

Thanks!

Gary, that meet was defintely a great way to get to know others. Perhaps we can do that again, or we can just go shoot with Ken Cheung.

707: I didn't know about the medium hits, but if you check reply #2 I admitted my mistake and offered another option!  Smile

I hope I'll hit 200 next month (or even this if screeners keep up the pace)

Let me know if your coming to Croatia

Hvala Tomislav.

I will definitely let you know when I head back to Croatia. Next summer I have no sports or anything, so I should be able to have a 3 month vacation! I spend all my time in Cres, but at the end of the vacation I spend a few days in Zagreb with a friend, so that would work out to be perfect!

Good work John. It is about time you made it  Wink/being sarcastic.

I stopped at 100, but chose to add 101 and 102 this summer. Perhaps more will come when I become bored with school in North Dakota. Once you get up here, imagine the editing sessions......1000 here we come!!
