Hi guys, you may have seen my threads regarding my fathers retirement from AA. Well is last flight is going to be Mon Aug 30th. We will be arriving from Denver to LAX, the flight number is 1469 scheduled to arrive LAX at 10:40 am. Im looking to see if any LAX spotters could be there to take pictures of the arrival (maybe a touchdown pic) also of the water cannon salute and maybe if you have a good zoom lens, to get a shot where you can see him in the picture (the captain). I will be willing to pay you guys for some great shots if that makes a difference.
This is really a special day for my dad and our family and I very much appreciate any and all help, thanks so much

Yes there will be, most likely over his aircraft as it heads towards the gate, and I will be lucky enough to be aboard, which is why I am looking for some nice people to take quality pictures for me

That would be terminal 4, right? Seems like I've seen American use runway 25 most often when I've been there--it would be helpful to know for sure ahead of time. I have virtually no experience shooting on that runway, but if someone can give me some location help I can check to see if I can go in to the office late Monday morning.
All this said, I'm more than happy to have someone with more experience help Corbett out. Please jump in if you're available.

Saxdiva - thanks so much for the offer to help, if you can it would be greatly appreciated. Yes it will most likely be terminal 4 as that is AA's big one there, but there is other gates that AA sometimes uses, but odds are in favor for term 4, like she said, anyone that has more info, it would help.
Thanks
Corbett

PIA747SV747-It is traditional when a Captain is on his last flight that the water cannons are brought out to honor him. It really is a spectacular sight BTW, if you evr do get a chance to see it, by all means do so.
As a side, when DL Express pulled out of ISP the fire department was kind enough to do that for their last flight out.
