What amazes me is of course the hard landing, but also all the details you get of the fuselage with the light, and the vortices. To complete this perfect picture, it's a nice Saudi Arabian MD-11F. The composition of this shot is just outstanding in my opinion.

Congrats to an amazing photographer! Congrats Sven!

Cheers!

Alex

Sven's photos remind me of this again and again.

Brian - SPOT THIS!

Ciongrats Sven,
for a picture that's truely outstanding!

Man, I had to open the window as the whole room smells like kerosene and burned rubber now...

Cheers,

Thanks. It was a bit of a lucky shot as i wanted to go home after the arrival of an IL-76... but because of the strong crosswind and spectacular landings, i decided to stay for a while.

Indeed... He did it again...
I've seen the preview on his camera after the shot was taken and at that moment, I was already speechless... On fullscreen it looks awesome...

At the end of the week when having more time, I will upload a picture taken at the same moment but with an angle difference of a 180°... Probably with less quality  Wink/being sarcastic

Serge (off to make again some crappy shots in crappy weather at OST), excuse me Ebos

I think this is normal, Serge. The student can't be as good as the teacher

Hmmm, Brubiac....

Can I point out that:

-I'm not longer a student photographer since I went with you to the States last January...  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

-That I 'm student screener right now...  Wink/being sarcastic

-That the mentioned shot was rejected due to a small pole in front of the A/C due to the early and heavy touchdown... (badmotiv)
