wow, my first 'post' in nearly 3 years, (dec '01 i believe) I see many new names and some great new talent (equipment, etc..). A.net has been very good to me, as sammy would say. I still see emails roll in 3-4 years after some of my photos have been shot. Good times...
But reality rolls along and now it's the youthful boy from some small town in the midwest getting married. I know, I know, i've seen "old school" and i know the risks. However, I do know that many photographers on here are not just hobby shooters but professionals. And to you, my friends, I extend this post. I will be getting married on Dec 31st, 04 near the philadelphia area and i'm looking for an inexpensive but artistically minded wedding photographer with proper equipment. If only I could do it myself, I would, it certainly has an irony to it.
If this sounds like something you would like to do, please post or email me: ChrisWeldy@hotmail.com
If you cannot do it but have some ideas for someone who might, please, well, post or email!
And beyond that I just wanted to say HI! I no longer work at an airport so my photography is currently in a 2+ year stalemate; my goal however, in the next 5-10 years or so, is to upgrade everything i've got. i.e. someday soon you will see me and my more "mature" photos again .

great to hear from you. Seems that you have been really busy the last few years. Getting married....wow, you must have changed a lot since we met the last time. Hmmmmmm, a good inexpensive photographer in the Philly area on Dec 31st???
I would love to help you out, but I am neither in Philly that day, nor am I a talented photographer and on top of that, I will be on a plane that day. Sorry pal, but all the best in finding one.....

Royal> Thanks!, nice website by the way, how much exposure do you get with it? I'd be curious to know....
Florian> Thank you, i will be posting there shortly to see if i have any luck. By the way it's ironic that you sent a link to "fredMiranda.com" as my fiance's (sp?) name is Miranda.
Andrew! > "legendary" may be a bit too strong but i appreciate the complement! Also, no i'm not moving to PHL but plans were to possibly move to florida if it's still there, not sure yet. I have to go to Vegas tommorow morning for my job, starbucks could be a possibility in a few weeks. sorry paul didnt work out for you by the way! He did get a job doing some telemarketing here in town, i think perhaps his voice is a bit stronger than his arms!!

Excuses, excuses.... j/k
Mark> If i had a few extra thousand $$ i would get married on Maho beach without thinking twice, unfortunetely i'm a youthful, immature and idealistic early-20-something who cant afford to supersize my value meals. By the way you had some killer SXM shots!
Gerardo, will never forget my day in ZRH!! -- looking through the database for the first time in a long time and your photos are looking fantastic!
Anyway, thanks for the kind words and advice here and my email, the offer is still open even if someone just wants some practice (you wont be paid too well in that case hahaha!) So keep the ideas coming... To everyone else thanks, and I certainly miss my days as part of the A.net clique!

Chris, your photos at Amsterdam were a long time inspiration for me. I love the shots you put up over the years. I was just wondering the other day what happened to you.. Good to hear you will be coming back!

First off: Congradulations for this milestone in your life!!
I haven;t heard from you in ages but its good to see that you haven't completely forgotten airliners.net and the fellow photographers who make this site their online home.
No Need to ask how you are doing because you basically said it in your original post. Definetly a busy life in the past few years for you so I understand if you couldn't be around taking picts of planes and stuff.
I wish I could help out but I do not possess wedding photographer material.
Best bet is watch out for these types of photographers, they charge analy high and sometimes you pay so much and you don't get the dream pict results cuz they either are inexperienced or they just plain suck.
Good Luck! Reply soon!
Expanding my global domination one spotter at a time..
