My dad gave me a box of these to clean my glasses, and it also looks as if they can be used for lenses too.

What do you think?

I only use compressed air for cleaning my equipment. Camera and binoculars.
Absolutely no small scratches, even when the clothes are new, scratches are still possible.

Do you use the canned stuff, or have an air compressor lying around the house?

The reason I ask is, that last week, I took some pictures of the flooding problem we have in the back yard:

A few rain drops got on the lens. I don't want to go smearing them around with the wrong stuff.

I use the cleaner that is used for anti-reflective eyeglass lenses.

Spit, and a dirty sock off my foot  Big grin

I use a Lens cleaning paper from wolf camera. Pre Moistened papers seem like a good idea, I've just never seen them before (nor was I looking I guess).

Hello Burke.

I use the canned stuff.
And when it's raining I don't use the camera I use for my aviation hobby. Dust is easily removed with the compressed air

I use hundred dollar bills, with help from a mist of thousand dollar white wine. Sure is nice being rich.

Yes, hundred dollar bills work great (thanks Rotor) but for the cheaper photographer, nothing beats toilet paper (new or used) and a dab of bleach.
