I asked Bailey the other day and I hope he doesn't mind me answering. He uses a Canon 10D and a 100-400mm IS lens. I'm not sure if it is what he used here, but I bet it was. AWESOME shot Bailey. Congrats on 500.

Keep in mind that Bailey's Average Views is 4,438! In order for him to rank, he needs 500 shots int eh d/b, so when he actually hits that mark, he will be the top average hits man on this site. And well deserved!
When it comes to specialty shots, Bailey owns contrails and air-to-air, hands down.

Those shots may look easy but are in fact very difficult to take. The thick slanted cockpit windows tend to fool the autofocus and the planes come at you very fast (closing speed of about 1km in 2,5 secs).
You need a lot of light and a lot of talent to consistently shoot pictures like that. Congratulations on a job well done.
