More amazing is that EVERY one of my 107 images in the database are taken from EXACTLY the same spot !! .... I stand on a little green electricity box, so that I can see over the fence at KSAN! ...This just show's you that the different angles and backgrounds can make for very interesting images, even though they're ALL taken from exactly the same location.

It's been great to see some photos from SAN now that I've moved even further away from home! Your recent batch of photos with the towering cloud formations were awesome. Your location will get better and better now that the summer has ended - better lighting & less heat haze. On the other hand it will also get dark earlier...

I hit the century this weekend as well. I now just need my hits to reach a century and I'll be happy!! Sadly, not too many people here are interested in GA and the smaller airfields - I suppose it doesn't have the same impact as the big jets. This one isn't the hundreth, but is a recent shot I particularly like:

Having background in your shots make them a million times better in my own opinion. It's a great variable and is a great way to show off your home airport.

BTW that RJ with the giant cumulus behind it - that is really good. I'd be tempted to play with the colors to make the cloud a more ominous shade. I like it a lot. Could be a cover on an Aviation Weather text.
