Have to agree, superb shots there!!!

Nice to see these classics too, makes me think what I have missed due to being a little younger!  Sad

Cheers,

Justin  Big thumbs up

I check his photos regularly, excellent work. It's amazing how he has kept all the details regarding location and dates. Some of his shots date almost 40 years.

He has so many and from a time period that aviation photography was not as popular as it is today.

I totally agree and I am viewing every single upload of him.

Congrats to his fine selection and he sure knows how to scan these oldies.

If he only would stick to the 1024x... upload size, my monitor and my eyes would appreciate his shots even more.....

Yes Incredible shots!

I agree with gerhard about the 1024 though, that would make the shots even better.

Nothing wrong with these good old flying machines. Always enjoy the likes of Bob Garrard, Don Boyd, Peter de Groot, Art Brett and off course many many more . . .

Ahhhhh shots from a time when aeroplanes made real noise not the sound of Hoover vacuum cleaners and left great black trails in the sky.
Great shots and great subjects from the greatest time in civil aviation.
Great stuff.

Dates are easy (well month & year) with K64, since they print them on the slide mount when they're processed.

That's how I know this was taken in Sep '74  Big grin

I can look at these shots all day. The ability of these images to stimulate and educate, and provoke memory. That's the power of photography.

To All,

Thanks very much for your kind remarks--and I can do 1024x.

...maybe this was the truth in the past, I abandoned K64 myself after the first 18 years of aviation photography, and nowadays I start to believe Kodak soon will abandon it too...  Big grin

Though I have neither at the moment, my DSLR for a time machine!

Bob's pictures hark back to when I got enthused about aviation. I hope his scanner stays humming for a long time to come.
