Richard Barsby has hit 1000 photos in the database. Actually he now has 1023. His work from the sometimes below freezing tundra of Edmonton, Alberta is exceptional. I love the night photography shots. Great job Richard. Here's to a few thousanfd more in the future.  Big thumbs up

Thank you very much N317AS for posting this! I just came across it!
After hitting 1000 shots, its now time to really focus on the cool stuff.
ie: Now snow covered Edmonton should produce some really neat effects.
I'm trying some settings on the camera that can cause the "star" effect on the lights exposed. Got a few in the queue right now, lets see if they are presentable enough.
The photo below was taken near the -20 celsius mark.
Our winters can produce this effect. Or rather Airbus can.

Still working on that start up photo for Westjet. Going for a -700 for the folks at the hanger. For now you'll have to view this, de-icing at its best!
