I have a Fuji FinePix A330 digital camera (my first; recently purchased), but want to know if it's good enough for planespotting. One weakness I found was that the zoom range was not long enough for distance shots (it's a point-and-shoot size camera).
I am considering trading it in at Jessops here in London for a digital camera with a bigger zoom (up to 10x, maybe). My previous film camera had a nice, big zoom lens built into it (it was an Olympus IS-20), but the camera broke down just before I arrived in London.
Please help me with some ideas for a (not-too-expensive, maybe £200-£350) digital camera with a decent, big zoom lens. Which model would be good for planespotting? Please let me know, with your ideas.
Thanks!

You should really do a quick search. This kind of topic has been discussed more than the AvsB wars. I am sure you will find tons of threads with helpful information!
