I got an interesng e-mail this evening from a friend at WN. Well, it would appear that Southwest is looking to add another East Coast city soon. My friend said that BED (does this airport have commercial jet service ?) has been batted around at the DAL hq. Myself, I am doubtful as they currently have flights to PVD as well as MHT. I am thinking somewhere in one of the Mid-Atlantic states. Possibly GSO, RIC, ORF, CLT.

This has nothing to do with Aviation Photography, I believe this should be posted on the other forum.

I'd say CLT/GSO are out of the picture as WN already has service to RDU.

Well I'm not going to get in a pissing match over the issue of a wrong forum or not, but you did not say this had anything to do with photography or spotting with your Mass. breathren. You just asked about possible cities that WN would fly to, so I felt it was the wrong forum.

FYI, WN just announced new service to Norfolk in October and then Richmond later on. I put the
post on the Civil Aviation forum.

i would love to see them at my field, BED, but given the current state of affairs here, i would say it is doubtful. We just did get approval for another carrier, but alas, they will be flying Dash-8's just like Shuttle America.

Ohhhhhhh my kingdom for some variety!
