Confirm that color printers usually use CMY or CMYK. Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, blacK. CMY is sufficient to produce all colors, but tends to result in a greenish-greyish black, so pure black ink is used as well. Printers that have "photo" cartraiges replace the black one with one that has a few more colors (including black) to make the image look better. Often with inkjet printers, you can tell when colors are mixed, so the less you have to mix them, the better.
RGB (Red, Green, Blue) are the three colors used in color monitors.
