D100 And D70 Burst Photos

Hi,

Just want to know how many photos you can take in one burst with the D100 and D70 all at one time with finger held down I know the 20D does 23 in a burst if I could get a rating for the nikon would be great

According to http://www.dpreview.com the D 70 can shoot JPEG: 3 fps, 12 images. RAW: 3 fps, 4 images. The D70 buffers the final image rather than the 'RAW data' and at lower image sizes / qualities can shoot hundreds in a single burst.
D100 shoots RAW: 3 fps, 6 images JPEG: 3 fps, 3 images.

I bet it's the other way round! JPEG is faster than RAW!

Be sure to use a high speed CF card so the camera buffer will be written to the card in the fastest possible way.
