Hi all,
http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/rejections/big/Man_151104_A6-EAS_04_filtered.jpg
This got rejected for badexposure, I was just wondering how I might be able to fix it.
Thanks in advance,

Knighty

It looks a bit grainy and blurry. Also I think that there are dark spots on the top area.

Nice photo,

Not grainy, just have to enlarge the pic. and its actually sharp. Was this taken digitally or film? It does look like the day was a bit gloomy. I have trouble on those days too.

Knighty,

Good photo. No significant grain or blur on my screen.

I have had similar rejections when the light is flat and gloomy (at Manchester too!). I don't think that there is anything wrong with the exposure in the technical sense - I think it is just that photos with such flat, unflattering lighting tend to be rejected because there are so many alternatives of the same aircraft taken in much better conditions.

Generally I think you just have to accept that there is not really anything you can do to make this kind of image 'better' - because there's nothing at fault with it. It's the lighting that's counting against you with regard to successfully uploading, in my opinion.

Cheers.

Paul

No grain , no blur .... badexposure !

great picture but could just do with brightening up a touch .. then it should be a winner  Smile

doesn't need touching other than to make it brighter .

Tony, shouldn't that be baddark then? Not complaining, just wondering  Big grin...

Sebastian

I guess that's what happens in the end, you start thinking about the beginning.

Knighty,

Maybe I was wrong after all! I would listen to Tony - he knows what he is talking about.

If you're there Tony, how do you post the version of the photo that you worked on in the forum?

Paul
