Anyone Planning Shooting At DCA/IAD This Weekend?

Hi Guys,

Anyone is planning on shooting at DCA, BWI or IAD this coming weekend? Weather for Saturday and Sunday looks good. Mostly Sunny and Sunny. Winds are from NNW so 1R for IAD, 33L for BWI and 1 for DCA. Anyone?

Not this weekend Rafal.. but around Jan 7-8th I'm looking at coming up to hang around DCA and IAD to make some pictures..

I don't know exactly when I'll be there. Saturday UH museum is closed so I might be in the Costco parking lot. Sunday I might be at the museum parking lot. I'm hoping that winds will change and rwy 19 at DCA will be used. I need to nail few AE ERJ140 to complete my fleet. I will send you email before I go to the airport.
Adam I am almost every weekend at IAD, so look up for me.

winds are staying North NW today..i was thinking of going to BWI or the marina spot at DCA..is anyone gonna be spotting at DCA or BWI? Do you know of any good movements that may come in today?

Adam, kinda rare to see southerly winds in the winter season in DC. But, who knows...if we have a nice warm day during the weekend you are here, you have a good chance. This weekend has been crappy in DC, so I won't be going out to shoot probably until New Years weekend.

if the winds are from the North, you can still come up to do some spotting at BWI with Greg and me. The traffic's been pretty good up there recently....AMC charter flights like there's no tomorrow!! I'll be heading up to BWI on Saturday....looks like Runway 33L arrivals are pretty much guaranteed with the NNW winds. I take it you've canceled the PHL trip? Anyway, it would be great if we could all meet up at BWI for a change....weather looks outstanding. This afternoon I'll probably be out at Gravelly Point, as the winds are from the S and the sun is starting to come out. Smile/happy/getting dizzy

P.S: For anybody not familiar with the area, Gravelly Point is the park underneath DCA's Runway 19 approach path! Wink/being sarcastic

Anyways, I've decided to leave it up to him as to where we go and take pictures! We'll be coming up on the 7th and leave on the 8th. I think greg said he'd try and join us for saturday afternoon.

I'd love to come to BWI, but I dont think we'll have the time. When we arent taking pictures, I think Chris wants to see the museum at IAD. But hey, maybe we'll see you around IAD one of the two days. would be nice to catch up again.. shoot me an email if you have any questions or anything!
