Founders Plaza on the southeast side of the airport would be the safest bet.

just spent a couple hours out at the west side of the airport near the american eagle hangar this afternoon. met up with the man, the myth, and the legend.......the great ryan c umphrey came out today and brought the clouds with him.

also LH cargo is good too (its on the west side)

The safest place "is" Founder's Plaza, but if the winds are from the south, that location sucks. It also isn't good in the afternoon as it is on the east side of DFW Airport.

LH Cargo and the Eagle Hangar parking lots are the best locations at DFW, yet sometimes the police will come by and hassle you for a while. They do sometimes ask us to leave, just depends on which officer answers the call.

Gee, wish I had known y'all were at Eagle. I wasted away the afternoon at LH, waiting for a Cathay Pacific that never departed Atlanta. Sheeesh.

That Cathay Pacific flight is a AA MD-80 codeshare, no CX planes involved.
