Hi folks,
I'm off to Prague next month an I was hoping to stop at the museum at Kbely for a few pics. I am not particularly interested in the military / combat aircraft but instead I am keen to get the few airliners they have there.
Has anyone any experience of this place? If it is closed in February, will I still be able to shoot those aircraft outside?
Has anyone got a list of exhibits, particularly the old airliners?
Details of how to get there from the city centre?

Gary,
I have been there in 2003, together with my dad, just for listing the complete display+pics of them. Unfortunately I shot film back then, so if I have time to search them, I'll make some quick scans. When my dad gets back from work/holiday next week I'll ask him if he can find the list for me.
About the museum itself, it's quite dark and cramped. The planes that are inside are well maintained, but very close to each other. The planes outside are in a less good condition, still complete but they have been there for at least 5 years without any protection. Photography is possible and allowed (just don't take pics of the active AF transport fleet from anywhere around the airport.
About opening hrs, I believe all week, but will ask my dad.
If you have any futher questions, please don't hesitate to ask,
Jurgen
